I took Alyssa Beltempo's recommendation and purchased the white button down shirt. It is fabulous from the material to the fit! I love it. I am only sorry I didnt know how to get her discount code. I am going to try to get another button down. Dont ever stop making this.
I just received my shirt today. I live in the US and it took a little while but it was worth the wait. I have extremely broad shoulders and finding flattering button down shirts has been challenging. If the shirt fits my shoulders it tends to be too wide in the body making me look even bigger. If you have broad shoulders like me, this is the perfect shirt. I ordered the xl to accommodate my shoulders and it was the right choice. The sleeves are the perfect length for my long arms, I have the perfect amount of room in the shoulders and the body skims my body not tight but not sloppily loose. The sleeves are not balloon or exaggerated and the angled pocket is the perfect size. The shirt is also not see through and has enough length to tie up, tuck or wear out. The material feels substantial. The search is over!
The Tailor - Proper Fit shirt fabric is the perfect weight with a lovely neckline. I had high hopes for this shirt but was disappointed because the Large size was too small for me. I wear a Large with JCrew, Brooks Brothers and The Shirt but apparently I needed to go up to an extra-Large with POMP. It was a gamble because as a US resident, I paid return shipping costs of over $30 (regular US Mail to Canada). Luckily it was worth the extra cost! I now know my size in POMP shirts and am so pleased with the quality I will buy more.
Having grown up wearing a uniform that included a white blouse, the white shirt inevitably became a wardrobe staple. The fabric of this garment and the cut lands right in my wheelhouse; lovely fit, PERfect Oxford!
No deviation from the other reviews here. Five stars. This is a great shirt. I love the weight of the fabric. I sized up so I could layer it and have a looser fit. I wasn’t sure about that decision initially, but now I’m glad I did.
